The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) develops programs and promotes energy policies to fight climate change, improve air quality, and save Coloradans money. CEO's work focuses on reducing greenhouse gas pollution from the state’s leading emissions sources, which include transportation, electricity generation, buildings, and industry. We provide funding, financing, and technical assistance to:

  • Support electric vehicle adoption through charging infrastructure, consumer education, and incentives
  • Implement building energy efficiency and electrification upgrades
  • Improve industrial processes to increase efficiency
  • Innovate renewable energy technology and expand the use of clean energy across the state

Community Access Enterprise

Housed in the Colorado Energy Office, the Community Access Enterprise supports the widespread adoption of electric motor vehicles and electric alternatives to motor vehicles and makes equity-focused investments in transportation infrastructure. 

Weatherization Assistance Program

The Colorado Weatherization Assistance Program helps income-qualified Coloradans save money, increase comfort, and better their homes and environment through zero-cost energy conservation solutions. This can include home energy audits, insulation, air infiltration sealing, LED light bulbs, solar panels, energy conservation education, and more.
